April Fools Day for Kids

I remember April Fools Day when I was a child... my father hid the family car one morning to make us think it was stolen, another year he told us there was a moose in the backyard in our city neighbourhood ("Made you look!"). Most cruelly, he made ice cream sundaes out of mashed potatoes with chocolate sauce poured over them. He didn't even have real ice cream to pacify us with after the joke was over. A life lesson in disappointment!
