Mouse in the House

Now that we have a kid in the house we try to make the most of the holidays like Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and any other excuse I can think of to decorate and celebrate with excessive food and drink. My rule is that you can start decorating on the first of the month of any holiday. To me any earlier is too early and any later hardly gives you enough time to decorate and enjoy it before you are hauling it all down again!

So this past weekend was Halloween decorating and I thought I would share my favourite, easy-peasy, Martha Stewart decorating idea. I do this every year and my toddler gets a big kick out of it. It is also simple enough that he can help and inexpensive enough that if the mice get wrecked from rough toddler play, what odds? It always gets comments from our trick or treaters!
