I can't believe how quickly time has flown by, but here it is the notice that it is time to register my son for kindergarten . Are you in the same boat? Do you know which school you are zoned for? Are you happy with it? Are you looking at French Immersion? Have you even thought about all this? I would love to hear your thoughts and experiences!

Wow, thanks for the reminder! I'll be registering my fourth (and final) child this year in French Immersion and hope for the same pain-free experience I've had in the past. The school my older two attended for kindergarten was one of those that had parents lined up outside the door in the early morning, but in being prepared it wasn't difficult to secure a spot. The school we attend now however, has two french kindergarten classes and can accomodate many more children, making the process even easier. My advice, if you are considering French Immersion, is to find out from other parents what to expect from your chosen school on registration day.
